In eighth grade, when he walked into a high school weight room with a buddy for the first time, Brent Albrecht immediately felt at home. Some 30 years later, Albrecht is still in the gym, albeit one that he now owns with partners Stephanie Winters and John Grubb.

Albrecht is a naturally high-energy person. He’s drawn to sports, and away from a desk. When he’s not at Fitspace, you can find him on his sons’ practice fields and courts, working as a football coach at Benilde St. Margaret, or snowboarding.

But a back injury, likely the result of years of playing high school and college football, sidelined Ablrecht for years. It also drove him to find a cure for himself and one he’s used with countless clients. Albrecht trained in a method physical therapists use called Postural Restoration Trained, or PRT.

“I‘m easy going. I try to make... This is an area for a quote about their approach from each trainer. This also serves as a visual break in the paragraph above and below.”
