Body Electric Podcast Series

Last October of 2023, TED Radio hour put together a 6-part TED Talk series discussing how our bodies have changed over the years due to modern technology. It dives into research-based findings on how technology and sedentary lifestyles are linked together and causing individuals to feel drained after a day spent on their devices.

What I love about this podcast series is how it goes into detail about why we feel the way we feel after a day of staring at screens, how it can impact our short-term and long-term health, and then provides a very simple and quick body movement initiative to counteract these feelings and negative changes to our body.  If you or someone you know sits in front or screen a lot during the day for work and/or for leisure, give these podcasts a listen.  See if some of the suggestions they give will inspire you or others to move your body more!
